What are HeartFelties?
HeartFelties are highly detailed handmade miniature animal replicas made from needle felted natural fibres, including wool, mohair, alpaca, bamboo and silk. Needle felting is a slow methodical process – my only tool is a sharp barbed needle to stab the fibres repeatedly into a firm shape. Each animal takes several days to complete.
HeartFelties have a strong wired skeleton and can be made in your choice of position. The skeleton can be gently manipulated to turn head, limb or tail position (but they are not intended as toys!). HeartFelties stand approx 12-14cm height depending on breed and position. All animals have a smooth coat base with the option of an additional layer of fur or markings. HeartFelties are made with glass eyes and a hand sculpted polymer clay or wool nose. Your original HeartFelty comes with a miniature collar and custom metal tag plus an adoption certificate.
Gestation: 12-16 week delivery (this is dependent on the current wait list – I will update you at the time of your order).

Yes I want to adopt a HeartFelty! What do I do now?
Message me with your request and I will give you a quote. Once you’ve decided to go ahead it is recommended that you provide as many clear photos as possible to show different angles, markings and features. It helps me to read a description of your pet, their character and anything specific about how they looked. Let me know if you have special requests (e.g. larger size, collar colour, positioning, accessories, priority delivery etc.) I can felt fur from your pet into your HeartFelty’s heart at no extra charge. It is also possible to use the fibre from wool dog breeds as a topcoat.

Once payment has been received your commission is confirmed. International orders can make online payments via PayPal (PayPal fees will be additional). As HeartFelties are custom orders refunds are not given.
